Townhomes prices down in Whistler, BC.   

There have been some recent sales in Whistler BC over the past few weeks.  With the favourable US exchange rate, the listing price discounts and excitement of the 2010 Olympics, more buyers are starting to take advantage of some real estate deals.

Here is a list of some recent sales in Whistler in the past 7 days:

1. Montebello townhome (Village).  3 bdrm, 3 bath, 2285 sq ft.  List $1,950,000.  Sold $1,700,000.

2. Taluswood townhome (Nordic). 3 bdrm, 2 bath, 1357 sq ft.  List $1,095,000.  Sold $940,000.

3. Gleneagles townhome (Benchlands). 2 bdrm, 2 bath, 988 sq ft.  List $699,000.  Sold $660,000.

4. Woods townhome (Benchlands).  2 bdrm, 2 bath, 980 sq ft.  List $650,000.  Sold $595,000.

5. Town Plaza condo (Village). 1 bdrm, 1 bath, 550 sq ft.  List $359,000.  Sold $330,000.

6. Alpenglow condo (Village).  Studio, 1 bath, 319 sq ft. List $199,000.  Sold $169,000.

We can see that townhomes have been doing very well selling.  And that properties are not selling at or near full asking price.

The selling price in the above sales ranges from 8% to 15% below list price.
