2009 Whistler Chalets Sales under $700K

A client recently asked me how many homes/chalets in Whistler have sold for under $700K this year.   I was interested in the answer myself:

Only 4 homes have sold for under $700K in 2009 in Whistler (not incl Black Tusk Village south of Whistler - 3 homes have sold for under $700K).

Whistler Sales picking up

Whistler Real Estate Sales Increasing in 2nd Quarter

Since April 1st, there have been 38 sales (7.6/wk) in Whistler. Compared to 68 total sales in the first 3 months (5.2/wk) of 2009.

Also interesting to note is that Inventory (total # listings) is decreasing (from over 810+ in December 2008) to 720 May 8, 2009.
