Emerald Estates

Whistler’s most northerly subdivision is just a 10 minute drive from the Village. It is a residential area offering single-family homes of various sizes, prices and styles. Some homes have stunning views looking over Green Lake to Wedge and Armchair Mountains while others have waterfront access. There are many renovated luxury homes but still opportunities to buy older properties and vacant lots. Rainbow

Alta Vista

One of the oldest original neighborhoods in Whistler, Alta Vista sprung up alongside the banks of Alta Lake, Whistler’s warmest lake. Change is coming slowly to Alta Vista and there are still a number of traditional A-frame houses interspersed among the more recently built and often luxurious homes. The Creekside area offers the only lift-access to Whistler Mountain outside the Village. Known as the original Whistler, this subdivision has been the focus of a huge redevelopment over the last few years. Creekside is a fairly large community with single-family homes, resort-style condos, townhomes and lodges.
